How to make a jewel from a recycled tomato puree tube

Updated: Feb 24, 2021

You will need an empty tomato puree tube, a pair of scissors, a biro, a pencil and a bit of imagination.

In this video I'm demonstrating the very simple technique of tracing around a leaf and then from a drawing of a wren.

Once you have mastered this there is no end to the designs and applications you will find for your recycled jewel;

add them to cards; pierce little holes in them to sew them into fabric like sequins or use them as bookmarks..........

Or you could make lots of them like I am and make yourself a diadem for nature!
